CURRENT PROJECTS
The Admirals Club at Nine Dragons Golf Resort in Shanghai, China is under construction and will be the centerpiece of a world class resort that will include three major hotels in the first phase. We have been retained to design a 27 championship holes that includes holes running atop a 500 ft. mountain that overlooks the China Sea. We have the tremendous challenge of building a 30 ft. high, two mile long retaining wall that will connect the mainland to islands off the coast of China in the Pacific Ocean (the site has an 18 foot tidal change). We are creating holes in the Pacific Ocean that will become oceanfront land. We are expanding the oceanfront coastline by bringing in $20 million dollars worth of fill to construct the holes. They recently sold $25 million in golf memberships in 60 days. Lot prices range from $2 million to $5 million.
The Longboat Key Club on Longboat Key, FL has two golf courses- the Harbourside course, which has 27 holes and the Islandside course, which has 18 holes. We are renovating the 27 holes on the Harbourside course. The Blue Heron Course boasts the popular world class sand dunes, which we added, while the newly named Red Hawk Course incorporates large sandy waste bunkers for a different variety of shot making on each course. These strategic design improvements move Longboat Key Club into the 21st century.
Royal Gems Golf City in Bangkok, Thailand will be an 18 hole golf course with holes “inspired by” famous holes from around the world. It will be the first 18 of a world class 63-hole golf facility. The clubhouse and boutique mall will be built underneath the finishing holes; the first of its kind anywhere in the world.
Guaymaral Golf Course in Bogota, Colombia is an 18 hole private golf course which will be undergoing a total course renovation.
Quail Heights Golf Course in Lake City, Florida is an 18 hole golf course which is undergoing an extensive course rerouting and renovation.
Heritage Springs Golf Course - we are adding a 9 hole executive golf course to the 18 holes of championship golf which currently exists (which we designed and opened in 2000).
Lakewood Country Club located in the city limits of New Orleans, LA - for 26 years was the site of the New Orleans Open, with such famous winners as Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson and Lee Trevino. We are renovating the 18 hole golf course to add condominiums, a hotel and restaurants on some of the club's extra land and two out parcels which have been purchased.
Bijao Golf Club in Panama City, Panama is a new golf course on the Pacific Ocean that will be part of a residential community developed by Grupo Provivienda.
The Presidential Club in Miami, FL – an exclusive private club which is renovating their golf course to add condominiums. Acreage is limited on this course and we are working with them to determine how best to redesign the golf course for best playability and maximum acreage for the condos.
Lekki Beach Golf Resort in Lagos, Nigeria will be an 18 hole world class golf resort situated on the Atlantic Ocean. The golf course will be only the third golf course ever built in Lagos, Africa’s most populated city. Membership is $250,000.00.
